HELENA CHRISTENSEN & LMFF MENSWEAR PRESENTED BY SPECSAVERS

What a show! Yesterday was the day when Helena Christensen came over to Melbourne to launch the 2011 version of Specsavers Spectacle wearer of the Year - and at the same time embellish the LMFFs menswear runway with her presence. And what an amazing person she is. One of the original supermodels and at 42, still breathtakingly beautiful (not that 42 is not young in any way but I doubt that any of her grace and gorgeousness will fade even at 82...). She is also a lovely, wonderful person with impressive, natural style.

It was a fantastic moment to see Helena as the face for Specsavers at the show, wearing glasses from the new Alex Perry Eyewear collection, dressed by the designer himself. The models, presenting men's spring fashion from Arthur Galan, Alpha 60, Autonomy, Campaign, From Britten, Farage, Three Over One and Vanishing Elephant was all wearing glasses from Specsavers. Cool music (especially enjoyed the Swedish tunes during the Three Over One walk - I just can't remember the name of them... have to ask my sister, she knows all abt the latest in music) and loving the red fixie bike in the Vanishing Elephant walk!

During the show we were also entertained by a group of funky dancers, really enjoyed that. A few snaps below in running order, will update you with photos of all the stylish, cool people I bumped into very shortly.
